We are pleased to announce that Wellesley College will run the second iteration of our successful online AP® Italian Language and Culture course on the edX platform! 

Registration is free and open to all, students and teachers alike.

The course will be open from August 20^th, 2018 until June 1^st, 2019, but students and teachers can register now! 

We would be grateful if you could advise any interested students, as well as other teachers, about this unique opportunity.

High school students:

1. Students who want to study on their own for the AP® Italian exam of May 2019 may register now for free on edX. All online material will become available on August 20^th, 2018 when the course officially opens.

2. Students who want to study with the help of a teacher may register for one of our Online Live Instruction Classes: these are synchronous online classes taught in conjunction with the free AP® Italian Language and Culture course, and meet one or twice a week in the evenings and/or on Saturdays. Students will be part of a very small (max 6) online learning community and will practice the material they have studied in the free online course. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate from Wellesley College with a letter grade that they may present to their high school for registration on their transcript. 

Our Online Live Instruction Classes will have the following schedule: 

September 24^th to December 15^th, 2018 (Intensive module) 

February 4^th to April 27^th, 2019 (Intensive module) 

September 24^th, 2018 to April 27^th 2019 (Non-Intensive module).

Please note that our online live instruction classes are open to all adult learners, not just high school student.

High school teachers and their students?:

Our online material will help teachers design an interactive and academically challenging AP® Italian Language and Culture course. Teachers and their students register for free to access all online material.

College and university teachers?:

Our online material will help you design an interactive and academically  challenging course. 

If you teach at the college level, AP® Italian Language and Culture may be used in any Italian course at the intermediate or high-intermediate level.
