We are the two promoters of a new Italian Dual Language Program which just got approved this week by Chancellor Carranza of the DOE. (http://schools.nyc.gov/Office
The program will run a PreK and a K class in English and Italian starting from September 2018 at an Elementary School who already has an International Baccalaureate Certification in Harlem (P.S. 242 - The Young Diplomats Magnet Academy - www.ps242.com).
We are now in the process of recruiting qualified teachers who are NY State Certified (or in the process of getting certified) to teach in the PreK and K classes. Ideal candidates would have an Early Childhood Education Bachelor’s Degree, a NY State Certification, a Bilingual Extension and preferably a Working Visa (or Permanent Residents or US Citizens).
We are attaching a flyer that we have been circulating. Could you please spread the word among your Faculty Staff members, Teachers, and Student Teachers to help us find teachers?
