Teacher, Lorena Bignamini moved to Los Angeles from Milan, Italy fifteen years ago. Her passion for teaching started when she was a child when her favorite game was not playing ‘house’ as many girls did, but playing ‘teacher’. Lorena has taught Italian to English speakers for many years. She is one of Fondazione Italia's most fun and experienced teachers. In her classes you will most likely hear her say, “learning Italian might be hard but it should not be boring!” If you want to learn to speak Italian Lorena will get you there with a smile on your face!

Facilissimo! is a 4-week online session that promises to teach adult students in a very short time how to navigate through the most common communication topics in Italian. This course is geared toward beginner level students with zero to low knowledge of Italian looking for a quick course to be able to communicate the basics in a simple but effective way.
 
"Cinema e Chiacchiere"

"Cinema e Chiacchiere" ("Film & Conversation") is a 4-week online course designed for high Intermediate/Advanced adult students that focuses on communication and comprehension of spoken Italian through discussions on films. This class is presented entirely in Italian.

Teacher, Valeria Buldini, is an Italian native speaker with a degree in Languages and Foreign Literature. Valeria was born in Italy and lived there until she was 27. Teaching Italian was her only full-time job for more than 14 years until seven years ago one when she became a mom! Valeria started teaching for Fondazione Italia in 2017.
 
"Serata dei Giochi" for Teens

NEW Class! Fondazione Italia is thrilled to offer "Serata dei Giochi" (game night) for kids ages 13 to 16. This is a 4-week online course in which students will play a series of didactic games that will enhance their Italian vocabulary and thinking skills. Make no mistake though this is a very challenging class where most of the games are designed for Italian kids. The students ability to “think in Italian” will be tested. This class is designed for students who have already studied Italian. NO HOMEWORK just FUN AND GAMES! Let’s play a game…who's in?
