The ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview, or OPI, is a valid and reliable
testing method that measures how well a person speaks a language. It is a
standardized procedure for the global assessment of functional speaking
ability, i.e., it measures language production holistically by determining
patterns of strengths and weaknesses.


A 2-day MOPI training (modified OPI: novice and intermediate levels) and a
4-day OPI training (novice, intermediate, advanced and superior levels) are
offered at Wellesley College in Massachusetts.
 
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance. If they wish to pursue MOPI-Limited and OPI-Full certification for academic purposes, they would need to submit the work described in the link below:
