Mi auguro l'inizio anno scolastico/accademico stia andando bene per tutt*. 
 
E' con grande entusiasmo che vi comunichiamo che tutto è pronto per l'edizione 2024 di VoluntarItaly. Il bando e il modulo di domanda sono ufficialmente aperti per la registrazione, al solito: https://www.dantemichigan.org/voluntaritaly/. Siamo felicissim di informarvi che quest'anno in collaborazione con gli oratori, i/le nostr*​ ragazz* potranno anche essere ospitat​​* a lavorare in una scuola secondaria paritaria (elementari e medie) di Seveso.
Ecco qua le cose più importanti da ricordare:
 
  • Età/Age: 18-25 anni
  • Durata/Length: 3 settimane (10-28 giugno, 2024; arrivo a Malpensa entro il 9 giugno per orientamento presso gli oratori/scuola prima dell'inizio delle attività)/Program is 3-weeks long from June 10-28 with arrival on June 9th for mandatory orientation)
  • Vitto, alloggio e assicurazione medica comprese/Meals, lodging and health insurance included
  • Volo aereo pagato dagl* student*/Airfare paid by student
  • Due lettere di raccomandazione che dovranno essere mandate direttamente agl* student* che le allegheranno alla domanda. Se preferite rendere anonime le vostre raccomandazioni vi consigliamo di salvarle con password che poi ci comunicherete privatamente./Two recommendation letters that students will upload directly to the application. If you are uncomfortable with this, remember you can save your letter with a password that you can communicate to us, but please give the letter to your students. 
  • Scadenza presentazione della domanda di partecipazione: 18 febbraio 2024/Deadline for application is Feb. 18, 2024.
  • ETIAS: dal 2024 i viaggiatori americani dovranno avere un permesso di viaggio (ETIAS), equivalente all'ESTA che già noi conosciamo. Il costo è circa $7.70 e dura due anni. Ecco il link al sito: https://etias.com/etias-application che vi invitiamo a condividere con i/le ragazz*./As you know starting from 2024 any American visitor to Europe needs an ETIAS travel permit. See the application site below and remind your students to apply in a timely manner.
  • Passaporto valido al momento del viaggio/A valid passport at time of travel
  • Livello linguistico: Novice High/Intermediate Mid e oltre/Language proficiency from Novice High and above

It is with immense gratitude and joy that we are pleased to announce that the registration to our VoluntarItaly 2024 program is officially open:dantemichigan.org/voluntaritaly. We are thankful for your steadfast support and enthusiasm for this successful program. We are happy to announce a new collaboration with a vocational school that works closely with the oratories and where they teach English from grades 1-8. Therefore, this year we can accommodate students also at the Novice High level.

We are looking forward to this new edition and amazing opportunity for all of our students.
