Title: The Business of the Italian Program
In the past few years several trends have imposed themselves in many institutions in order to attract and retain students, but also to prepare them for the job market and the professional world. This session will discuss the strategies and innovations that undergraduate programs in Italian are implementing to remain relevant and meaningful in academia and beyond. The session welcomes presentations that focus on pedagogical approaches, models of disciplinary and cultural entrepreneurship, and community outreach projects that expand the role of the Italian program today.
Organizer: Federico Pacchioni, Chapman University
