XVII WEEK OF ITALIAN LANGUAGE IN THE WORLD

 

2 ottobre
Consegna Scholarships per studenti di lingua italiana – 6 Pm State House, all’interno della Cerimonia di inaugurazione dell’Italian Heritage Month.

14 ottobre 
ore 9.00 Lexington High school -  ––“ Ciak, si insegna! L’italiano al cinema e l’italiano nel cinema” – l’uso del Cinema per l’insegnamento della lingua italiana. Convegno aperto al Pubblico – Relatrici: Carmen Merolla e Cristina Pausini, Tufts University.

18  ottobre
- 5:30 pm - Centro Studi Europei – Harvard University, Cambridge, MA – V edizione Annual Salvemini Colloquium on Italian History and Culture: “Toscanini, Musician of Conscience.”

27-29 ottobre
Wellesley College – “ Italian Cinema in Historical and Inter-cultural Contexts”- Convegno - Rassegna con proiezione di 4 film italiani - Aperto al pubblico

27 – 28 ottobre
Springfield - Premio “Docente di Italiano dell’anno “ che verra’ assegnato all’interno del Convegno MAFLA 2017

Ottobre-novembre:
Italian Day con varie date in alcune scuole del Massachusetts e del Rhode Island.  L'Italian Day prevede concerti con il Trio I CLASSICI - Iniziative in collaborazione con EATALY ( educazione al cibo) - Presentazione delle eccellenze italiane (Dealer Ferrari, Ducati…) -  incontro con l'Innovazione Digitale (Progetto Arduino nelle scuole.)

Nel mese di Ottobre e Novembre si svolgera’ inoltre il   New England Contemporary Italian Film Festival in quattro Universita’ del New Egland:  UMASS Boston – Norteastern University – Brandeis University – Salem State University.

Presentation of  Scholarships to students of Italian Language and AP Italian – 6 Pm, State House, House Chamber, 3^rd Floor, during the Italian  American Heritage Month Ceremony.

14 October  
Lexington High school - 9.00 AM –“ Ciak, si insegna! L’italiano al cinema e l’italiano nel cinema” – How movies can be useful for the Teaching of the Italian language. Lecture by Carmen Merolla and Cristina Pausini, Tufts University.

18  October
5:30 pm – Center for European Studies CES  – Harvard University, Cambridge, MA – Annual Salvemini Colloquium on Italian History and Culture: “Toscanini, Musician of Conscience.”

27-29 October
Wellesley College – “ Italian Cinema in Historical and Inter-cultural Contexts”- Conference  with  screen of four Italian movies – Open to public

27 – 28 October
Springfield – Award  “Italian Teacher of the year “. The Teacher will be awarded during the MAFLA Conference 2017

October –November
Italian Day in some Schools of  Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  The Italian Day will offer “Opera”  performances and Italina songs, by  the “Trio I CLASSICI”.  Other activities are also planned in collaboration with  EATALY Boston – Dealerships Ferrari, Ducati, and the Arduino project

October and November:  
the New England Contemporary Italian Film Festival  will be held in four Universities of Massachusetts: Umass Boston – Brandeis University – Northeastern University-  Salem State Unversity.
