Position Description
The Department of French and Italian at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Italian to begin August 2017. The successful candidate would receive a three-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. Senior Lecturers teach a 3-3 course load, advise students, participate in extra-curricular activities and may perform administrative duties as needed. Qualifications: PhD in Italian or Applied Linguistics preferred. Native or near-native command of Italian and English as well as documented success at teaching Italian language courses at introductory and intermediate levels is required.
