Job Posting: Lecturer

The Department of Classics, Humanities, and Italian Studies at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for an 18-month appointment as a benefits-eligible lecturer in Italian Studies to start January 2020. Open specialization with expertise in medieval studies, digital humanities, or second-language education preferred. The successful candidate will be familiar with instructional technology and best pedagogical practices, have a strong teaching record, and be able to teach language and culture courses at all levels. The teaching load for the academic year consists of 6 courses (lower and upper division), and the service responsibilities include active participation in co-curricular activities. Requirements: PhD (ABD considered), fluency in Italian and English, and college-level teaching experience. Demonstrated ability to work with faculty, staff, and students as well as community groups of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability and ethnic backgrounds. Competitive Salary.
