The Department of Italian at Georgetown University together with the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Washington D.C. would like to invite you to our conference titled Italian Language and Culture Conference: New Directions in Teaching and Research.
The one-day conference will take place on October 24th 2015 during Settimana della lingua italiana nel mondo. Faculty and graduate students from the United States and overseas will share their innovative approaches and pedagogical strategies for teaching Italian culture at both the high school (in particular for AP courses) and university levels.

Professional development credits will be awarded to middle and high school teachers in attendance.
