Northwestern High School appreciates Ms. Ippolito, Staff Member of the Month December/January, 2014

The award is for her continued dedication and hard work. Ms. Ippolito is always prepared and organized. She engages students and gets them to look at issues in a variety of ways. She forms strong relationships with her students and shows that she cares about them as people. She is a master of her subject matter and this shows in both her teaching practice and through the amazing results the she gets with her students. Finally, She works hard to incorporate our diverse community into her teaching practice, which only shows to a greater extent her true love of her students, and her sincere hope that they may bring their love of the Italian Language home.

Questo riconoscimento viene dato  alla Professoressa Ippolito per la dedizione e per l’impegno dimostrato nel lavoro. La professoressa Ippolito è sempre preparata e organizzata. Sa coinvolgere gli studenti e offre loro l’opportunità di imparare in tanti modi diversi. Ha sviluppato un forte legame con i suoi studenti e dimostra di sapersi prendere cura di loro rispettandoli come persone. E’ molto ben preparata nella sua materia e questo si può notare dal modo in cui insegna ed anche dai risultati che i suoi studenti raggiungono. Infine, Ileana Ippolito riesce a riversare nell’insegnamento il suo impegno verso l’integrazione delle diversità che costituiscono la nostra comunità scolastica, dimostrando chiaramente il suo grande amore per gli studenti e la sua sincera speranza che essi possano portare dentro di loro l’amore per la Lingua e Cultura Italiana.
